Griffin Park provides camping on over 20 acres – 40 electric hookup sites available with water access. Hundreds of primitive tent sites are available. Reserve your spot now and experience this incredible event in the path of totality!

Rates

3 Days Primitive Camping – $240
3 Days Camping with Electric Hookup – $400
Day Pass for Monday only (1 car, 4 people) – $100

Rates are for one campsite (one tent or one RV per site) for up to four people above the age of six for three days and nights. (Friday – Sunday nights or Saturday – Monday nights) Extra person – add $60 / person. Extra day – add $50 for primitive, $75 for electric hookup.

Stay one night or stay all three nights. The prices are the same. Primitive campers pick a spot anywhere on the property upon arrival. We will not be reserving primitive spots, first come first serve. Hookup sites will be assigned when reservation is made and must be paid in advance. Do not expect to find a site with electricity without reservation. Primitive sites may pay cash at the gate, no credit cards will be accepted at the gate but can pay in advance with credit card by calling 870-856-1189. No rainout refunds. All campsite rules will be followed, or guests will leave the Park.

Controlled pets are welcome. ATV’s are allowed but all motorized vehicles must observe a speed limit of no more than 10 mph.

Location

Griffin Park is located just a few minutes from Hardy, Arkansas. Located along the beautiful banks of the South Fork of Spring River, under towering cedar covered bluffs, Griffin Park has been a refuge for campers for 64 years. Amenities for the total eclipse include 8 porta pottys, 2 toilet bathhouse, stage, vendors, river access all along the park.

Party in the Park with Southern Rock Band LAST RIDE and other musical guests on Saturday, April 6. Music begins at 1 pm

Matt Claude and Guests will rock the stage at 7 pm on Sunday, April 7.

What to do

Just across the river from the Park is our Griffin Park Bar and Grill, featuring a full bar, great food, and music. We are open from 11 am until 2 in the morning. Griffin Park is one mile from the historic town of Hardy with river float rentals, restaurants, gas, groceries, and shopping. Within 10 miles, the area has two McDonalds, a Walmart, a KFC-Taco Bell, a Subway, a Sonic, 6 Dollar Stores, a movie theater, a bowling alley, and an emergency room.

Griffin Park Rules

PASSES: All vehicles must have a pass visibly displayed on windshield, dash, or mirror. Any unauthorized vehicle will be towed at the owner’s expense. Day passes for Monday DOES NOT include camping. Guests with these passes are expected to vacate by dark. All visitors to guests with passes must check in for their own parking pass.

QUIET TIME: 10 p.m. / 7 a.m. – please be considerate of others. No loud music at any time.

CHECK-OUT TIME: – Guests are encouraged to stay Monday night to allow the heavy traffic to move out of the area.

SPEED LIMIT: All motorized vehicles must observe a speed limit of no more than 10 mph.

CHILDREN: We want the children to be safe & have a good time, but always under the watchful eyes of a parent/guardian. Please use good judgement if you decide to leave your children at the park when you are gone. We are not responsible for their safety or welfare. You are liable for their behavior.

PETS: Please maintain control of your pets. Do not leave pets tethered on a leash or chain or in a pen outside when you are absent. Your pets are welcome as long as they do not disturb other guests. Keep your pet at your campsite; do not allow them to run free. Pets must not have an aggressive nature. Dog owners must properly dispose of the animal’s excrement and clean up after their pets.

TRASH: All garbage will be placed in garbage bag lined cans provided. DO NOT leave unbagged trash. Only normal camping trash allowed. Sites are to be kept clean and orderly, as determined by management. Washing vehicles in the park is prohibited, however; keeping your RV clean and in good repair is required. NO GLASS BOTTLES ON BEACHES OR SWIMMING AREAS!

CAMPSITES: Be sure to put out your fire before bed, before heading out for the day, or when you leave the site at the end of your stay. Do not damage live trees by hacking or cutting on them. All sites must be kept neat and clean of debris and in an uncluttered state. Any tent or other camping equipment left unoccupied for more than 48 hours may be taken down and removed

CONDUCT: Disorderly conduct, drunkenness, illegal drugs, obscene language, obnoxious, excessively loud, disruptive, lewd, or vulgar behavior will not be tolerated. Guests will not engage in fighting or violent, tumultuous or threatening behavior. These are reasons for immediate eviction without refund.

LIABILITY: All park facilities and equipment of the park is intended for the convenience of the guests. Any and all persons using the facilities do so at THEIR OWN RISK and consent. The park management is NOT RESPONSIBLE for accident due to fire, theft, wind, flood, personal negligence, acts of God or other unfortunate circumstances. The registered guest is financially responsible for all individuals or pets at their site for any/all damage to the park. These rules are for health, cleanliness, legality and welfare of all.
