Whether you want the full experience of sleeping on the ground or just a taste of nature before closing your camper door for the night, Griffin Park offers a variety of options at affordable prices—which makes vacationing in the Ozarks a budget-friendly choice for families. Griffin Park provides camping on over 20 acres – 40+ electric hookup sites available with water access. Hundreds of primitive tent sites are available.

Rates

PRIMITIVE CAMPING – $10 per night per person over the age of 12. No electrical access. Camp anywhere along the river as long as not taking up a spot with electrical or water access. Do not camp on the beaches at Gregg’s Beach or Virgil’s Beach. Do not black access to the river. Please to not crowd other camp sites.

TENT CAMPING WITH ELECTRICITY – $10 per night per person over the age of 12 plus an additional $10 per night for the electrical spot;  RV rates apply if you are plugging in air conditioners, refrigerators, multiples lights or fans for a tent. White Horse Mountain Camp on the riverside is the best spot for 110 V electricity for tent camping.

RV CAMPING WITH ELECTRICITY – $10 per night per person over the age of 12 plus an additional $15 per night for the electrical spot. Over 40 hookups are available in the campground, with 30 AMP electric being the most common. A few 50 AMP hookups are available. Arrangements can be made if you prefer to run a generator for your RV.

Weekly and Monthly rates are available.

DAY PASS – RIVER ACCESS – $5 per adult for parking pass.  ALL VEHICLES must have pass.  Guests with day passes must vacate the park by dark. This pass does not cover camping.

SEASON PASS – RIVER ACCESS – $75 per pass; 1 pass is for 1 car, no more than 4 adults per car. Guests with day passes must vacate the park by dark. This pass does not cover camping.

River Access includes swimming, fishing, sunning but does not cover camping .

* Use of clean restrooms and hot showers are included with purchase of camping or day pass



Griffin Park is offering RV and tent camping at the White Horse Mountain campground.  At WHM camp, located at the north end of the park, water and electricity are available as well as a bathhouse. 

Other spots with electricity and water include Scott’s Beach and Gregg’s Beach (AKA Camp David, AKA Merimichee Falls, AKA above the Keller Cabin before it went down in the flood 50 years ago). 

And of course there are plenty of primitive camping sites.

Camping reservations can be made at the Griffin Park Grill by calling 870-856-1189 and paying in advanced with a credit card .  Check in for camping is at the pub beginning at 11:00 am.but can pay in advance with credit card by calling 870-856-1189. No rain-out refunds. All campsite rules will be followed, or guests will leave the Park.

Controlled pets are welcome. ATV’s are allowed but all motorized vehicles must observe a speed limit of no more than 10 mph. Griffin Park is not a ATV park.

Bernard’s Beach – Just inside the gates of Griffin Park. Good spot for primitive tent camping. Great place for day passes when kids need shallow water. No Access to first three lots which privately owned.

Gregg’s Beach – Six electrical spots. Outstanding beach area below Merimichee Falls.

Virgil’s Beach – Everyone’s favorite hang out on the river, great sandy beach and swimming hole. Please, no camping on the beaches and do not pull your vehicle down onto the beach.

Scott’s Beach – Four electrical sites on top, good tree covered sandy area below for primitive camping.

White Horse Mountain Campground – Fifteen concrete pads with 30 amp RV electrical outlets and plenty of water spigots available. Over a dozen 110 v outlets on the riverside for tents. Men’s and Women’s bathrooms with hot water showers. Good swimming hole at north end with easy access.

Stage area and vendors row. The stage area is for rent for events. We have hosted huge concerts, family dinners and reunions, wedding receptions, biker rallys and lots of other gatherings at the stage. Several electrical outlets with water available for RV and tent camping.
