Griffin Park Rules

PASSES:  All vehicles must have a pass visibly displayed on windshield, dash, or mirror.  Any unauthorized vehicle will be towed at the owner’s expense.  Day passes for Monday DOES NOT include camping.  Guests with these passes are expected to vacate by dark.  All visitors to guests with passes must check in for their own parking pass.

QUIET TIME:  10 p.m. / 7 a.m. – please be considerate of others.  No loud music at any time.

CHECK-OUT TIME:   – Guests need to be ready to be off of a camp sites by noon in case other campers are wanting that site but are encouraged to stay the afternoon and enjoy the park.

SPEED LIMIT:  All motorized vehicles must observe a speed limit of no more than 10 mph. Motorcycles and ATVs must also limit there speed to 10 mph. This is not an ATV park.

CHILDREN:  We want the children to be safe & have a good time, but always under the watchful eyes of a parent/guardian.  Please use good judgment if you decide to leave your children at the park when you are gone.  We are not responsible for their safety or welfare.  You are liable for their behavior.

PETS:  Please maintain control of your pets.  Do not leave pets tethered on a leash or chain or in a pen outside when you are absent.  Your pets are welcome as long as they do not disturb other guests.  Keep your pet at your campsite; do not allow them to run free.  Pets must not have an aggressive nature.  Dog owners must properly dispose of the animal’s excrement and clean up after their pets.

TRASH:  All garbage will be placed in garbage bag lined cans provided.  DO NOT leave unbagged trash.  Only normal camping trash is allowed.  Sites are to be kept clean and orderly, as determined by management.  Washing vehicles in the park is prohibited, however; keeping your RV clean and in good repair is required.  NO GLASS BOTTLES ON BEACHES OR SWIMMING AREAS!

CAMPSITES:  Be sure to put out your fire before bed, before heading out for the day, or when you leave the site at the end of your stay.  Do not make a new rock fire ring if one does not already exist. They play havoc with the lawn mowers. Do not damage live trees by hacking or cutting on them.  All sites must be kept neat and clean of debris and in an uncluttered state.  Any tent or other camping equipment left unoccupied for more than 48 hours may be taken down and removed.

NO FIREARMS OPENLY DISPLAYED.

CONDUCT:  Disorderly conduct, drunkenness, illegal drugs, obscene language, obnoxious, excessively loud, disruptive, lewd, or vulgar behavior will not be tolerated.  Guests will not engage in fighting or violent, tumultuous or threatening behavior.  These are reasons for immediate eviction without refund.

LIABILITY:  All park facilities and equipment of the park is intended for the convenience of the guests. Any and all persons using the facilities do so at THEIR OWN RISK and consent. The park management is NOT RESPONSIBLE for accidents due to fire, theft, wind, flood, personal negligence, acts of God or other unfortunate circumstances.  The registered guest is financially responsible for all individuals or pets at their site for any/all damage to the park.  These rules are for health, cleanliness, legality and welfare of all.
